SECRET 7"– NEW WORK

Here is my contribution for this year's Secret 7"s that has been created entirely with charcoal pencils. I chose Laura Marling's evocative track titled 'The Beast' and decided to illustrate the 'beast' coming home.

Before I began work on the new original I was contacted by Computer Arts magazine who enquired about including the project in their recent redesign issue. In the print issue you will find a step-by-step process of how I approached and executed the piece, however, in order to give that extra insight we made a stop frame time lapse for the iPad edition.

Hope you enjoy seeing how the piece comes together.

Thanks to Computer Arts for the feature.

SECRET 7"

This weekend (13-14th) brings the first chance for the music loving public to see the collection of sleeves in the flesh created by the contributors of the Secret 7" project.

For those eager to see what will be available to purchase this year the majority of the artwork can currently be seen on the Secret 7" website.

However, it won't be until the 20th April (Record Store Day) where the desired sleeves can be purchased from the venue.

The details of which are as follows:

Mother London Biscuit Building
10 Redchurch Street
London

10am - 6pm
