HF EMPORIUM- THE FRONTROOM CAMBRIDGE
Tonight the Handsome Frank Emporium returns for three weeks at The Frontroom in Cambridge.
After the success of Pick Me Up my agents will be hosting a pop up shop where a plethora of artwork from the HF illustrators will be available to purchase. The space will also provide portfolio reviews, discussions and of course those wonderfully dodgy records.
Join the private view tonight from 6:30pm where the artwork will be accompanied by the awesome burgers from Steak & Honour!

GHOSTS OF GONE BIRDS– 'HUIA'
After a wonderful opening at the ONCA Gallery for the final chapter of the Brighton edition of the 'Ghosts of Gone Birds' exhibition here are some detailed shots of my contribution to the project.
If you are able to make it to Brighton before the 31st of this month I strongly suggest that you pay the gallery and the exhibition a visit which holds a great variety of artwork produced by both emerging and established artists.
However, if you are unable to do so you can see the full image of my Huia bird by following the link to my website below.
A big thank you to Chris and Laura for the opportunity to be apart of this exhibition!

GHOSTS OF GONE BIRDS– PRIVATE VIEW
I couldn't think of a better way to bring in the new year than to contribute to a project such as 'Ghosts of Gone Birds' which has the third installment of the exhibition in Brighton's ONCA Gallery this evening.
Before I closed the studio doors for 2012 I was asked to complete a never before seen piece depicting one of the species of bird that unfortunately no longer exists.
In addition to the wonderful pieces that adorned the ONCA gallery since the initial opening in November tonight will give those of you who may have been unable to make it to the show a chance to see what has been on display and much more.

THE BRICK LANE GALLERY– CHRISTMAS POP-UP SHOW
I have some limited edition prints that have been selected to be included in The Brick Lane Gallery's Christmas Pop-Up Exhibition which opens on Wednesday 12th December.
The show has brought together a number of creatives that may just have exactly what you want to give someone or yourself this Christmas at a really good price.
It looks like I will be in good company in this show and look forward to seeing everything set up.
See you on the 12th!

ART V CANCER- EXHIBITION
.....................................................................................................................................
I have always wanted to use my artwork to help others so when I heard about the Art V Cancer exhibition I couldn't think of a better excuse to create a new piece.
I received an email yesterday informing me that my original piece will be included in the show in addition to the small limited edition number of prints that will be sold in order to raise money.
This will be the first Art V Cancer exhibition that will open on November 2nd at 2022NQ in Manchester and will include over 35 artists both established and emerging to raise money for the cause.
The show looks like it's going to be a great night packed with fantastic work. For updated news on the exhibition you can use one of the following links.

NEW WORK– SWAN LAKE
Above is my contribution to the Pointe Blank 'Swan Lake' exhibition which is currently running at the Milkwood gallery in Cardiff.
The portrait tries to highlight the transformation that the princess of the folk tale undertakes when daylight disappears and she can return to human form.
The exhibition will run until the 8th October as a part of Cardiff Design Festival before appearing at Birmingham's Eye Candy Illustration Festival.
For more detail photographs take a look at the project on my website via the link below.

POINTE BLANK– EXHIBITION
.....................................................................................................................................
I am lucky enough to be one of 27 wonderfully talented creatives who have created something especially for this Swan Lake themed exhibition from Pointe Blank.
Judging from the names involved it looks like the show will be an event filled with visual delights and interesting interpretations.
The exhibition is just one of the many events happening throughout Cardiff Design Festival, if you're in the area be sure to take a look!

GREG EASON- BLOCK UNIVERSE
.....................................................................................................................................
The 27th of September will bring the private view and opening of Greg Eason's solo show 'Block Universe' at 18 Hewett Street, a show that I am sure many of us are looking forward to in anticipation.
The exhibition will see Eason branch into the philosophical theory around the concept of 'time' and explore new media in the process. Using predominately pencil as his approach to image making 'Block Universe' will include Eason's first experimentation with sculptural forms and media.
To read the press release and to view more of Greg's great work click on one of the links below.
