RGB MONITOR EVENT

.....................................................................................................................................

I wanted to share this event with you as it is a great opportunity for creatives.

The digital capture specialists RGB are opening their new studio to host a free monitor demonstration this Friday. Attendees are welcome to bring their own images and try the best high-end graphic monitors in addition to being able to see new industry standard calibrators.

It's always great to see a company offer an occasion such as this to benefit those in the industry, especially for free.

More details can be found on the RGB blog.

Creative Review have announced that they will be teaming up with the Tate Britain to mark the gallery's new exhibition 'The Vorticists: Manifesto for a Modern World' with an adoption of the themes associated with this movement (Blast and Bless).

The publication are looking for work based on these themes to be included in the next Tweet up at the Tate Britain on July 21st. The piece of work that is deemed the best by the CR team will even be made into a special double sided print which will be unveiled on the night.

If you are looking to enter imagery for the event or would just like more information there are a few links below that should be of help.

YO ILLO

Last night saw the second instalment of Rob Barrett's 'Yo Illo' meet up, a night where illustrators and like minded individuals come together to talk, drink and generally enjoy each other's company. The event was a success and it was a pleasure to meet the lovely people that came along as well as see some familiar faces.

If your in the London area I would recommend keeping an eye out for the next event as there really is a shortage of these evenings.
