NEW APPROACHES

I was looking over some old work and found these charcoal pieces that I created for a brief last year. The images were unused but I really enjoyed creating them,. It was actually due to these that encouraged me to try the medium for my Ghost of Gone Birds piece.

I have a feeling that more of this will be creeping into my work.

NEW WORK– SWAN LAKE

.....................................................................................................................................

Above is my contribution to the Pointe Blank 'Swan Lake' exhibition which is currently running at the Milkwood gallery in Cardiff.

The portrait tries to highlight the transformation that the princess of the folk tale undertakes when daylight disappears and she can return to human form.

The exhibition will run until the 8th October as a part of Cardiff Design Festival before appearing at Birmingham's Eye Candy Illustration Festival.

For more detail photographs take a look at the project on my website via the link below.
